Mexican Chicken Kiev

INGREDIENTS
2 (about 1 pound)
Gerber’s Amish Farm Chicken Breasts, whole, boneless, skinless, halved and pounded
4 ounces
Monterey Jack cheese, thinly sliced
1 can (4 ounces)
chopped green chilies, drained
1/3 cup
seasoned dry bread crumbs
1 teaspoon
chili powder
1/2 cup
bottled salsa

Preheat oven to 375 F. Top each Gerber’s Chicken Breast half with equal amounts of cheese and chilies; roll up and secure with wooden toothpicks.

Roll in bread crumbs combined with chili powder, coating well.

In lightly greased shallow baking pan, arrange Gerber’s Chicken rolls and bake 20 minutes or until Gerber’s Chicken is tender and no longer pink. Verify doneness by using a meat thermometer and internal temperatures reads 165 degrees.

Serve, if desired, with additional salsa.
